Home Education and Qualifications

Flexible, creative learning tailored to the individual

The Art Shed offers personalised art sessions for home-educated children and young people, whether they're exploring art for enjoyment, developing practical skills or working towards a qualification.

Sessions are relaxed, encouraging and adapted to each student's interests, abilities and goals. There's plenty of opportunity to experiment, develop independent ideas and build confidence through creativity.

GCSE & A Level Art

For students wishing to work towards GCSE or A Level Art, I can provide specialist tuition and guidance, drawing on my extensive experience as an Art teacher and examiner.

Sessions can focus on developing practical skills, researching artists, experimenting with materials, building a portfolio and creating thoughtful, personal artwork.

Arts Award

Arts Award offers young people an opportunity to develop their creativity, explore different art forms and celebrate their achievements.

I can also discuss opportunities to work towards Bronze, Silver or Gold Arts Award, depending on individual needs and arrangements.

“I liked that we chose what we wanted to do instead of being told. I especially enjoyed improvising and adding our ideas to make something that we all felt really proud of.”
