"Everyone loves to draw if they are given a non-threatening environment with enough structure for success and enough freedom for creativity"

I have been a teacher of Art and Design in a variety of schools and educational contexts for 15 years. I have taught across Key stages 2, 3, 4 and 5 and I work for and have extensive experience with examination boards for GCSE and A Level. Working with a wide variety of students and abilities has taught me that above all, Art is personal, individual and requires a flexible and informal approach in order to build skill, confidence and allow enjoyment. I endeavour to work with each student according to their needs, whether these are social or skill based. My priority is that every session is fun, relaxed and creative.
