A little about me

​

I'm a qualified Art and Design teacher with over 15 years' experience teaching children, young people and adults across a wide range of ages, abilities and educational settings. I also have extensive experience working with GCSE and A Level examination boards.

Over the years, I've learnt that creativity is different for everyone. Some people come to develop their artistic skills, others to build confidence, try something new or simply enjoy a little time being creative.

I believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and that the best learning happens when people feel comfortable enough to experiment, make mistakes and discover what they can do.

At The Art Shed, I combine professional teaching experience with a relaxed, informal and individual approach. Whether someone needs a little encouragement, more structured tuition or simply the freedom to explore, I adapt my teaching to suit them.

Above all, I want The Art Shed to be a place where people feel happy, confident and inspired to create.
