Children's Art Classes Ages 5–12

At The Art Shed, children are encouraged to explore, experiment and develop their own creative ideas in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Our classes combine carefully planned activities with plenty of freedom to make individual choices. Children learn and develop drawing, painting and practical art skills while discovering new materials, techniques and ways of working.

Every child is different. Some love to chat and share ideas, while others prefer to quietly concentrate. Some need a little more guidance and reassurance, while others are ready to work more independently. There's room for everyone.

I believe that confidence grows when children feel comfortable trying something new, making mistakes and discovering what they can achieve.

Children with additional learning needs are very welcome. I'm always happy to discuss individual needs and how best to support them.

Above all, The Art Shed is about enjoying art, building confidence and feeling proud of what you create.
