The artshed is a safe, creative and flexible environment created with an ethos of inclusivity, acceptance and respect. The aim of sessions is to build enjoyment and confidence around art and the skills needed to be creative. We try to strike a balance between developing the fundamental skills of drawing and painting and exploring new materials to be creative and expressive. Artists of every age are supported with all tasks while being encouraged to be independent when they are comfortable. They are encouraged to be themselves, be kind to one another, interact in a positive and helpful way and above all, feel relaxed and supported so that they can fall in love with the creative process.
